RIGNOS
RIGNOS TuneIn development
ECU file editor

The calibration file, laid open.

Open a heavy-duty ECU file, find its maps, and work on them as tables, 2D curves and 3D surfaces. Compare two files cell by cell. Support for each engine family comes as a plugin, so you pay for the engines you actually tune.

In development. No release date yet.
How it works

From a read to a file you trust, in three steps.

RIGNOS Tune edits files. Reading and writing the ECM is RIGNOS Flash’s job; the two hand files to each other.

1

Open the read

Open a file read by RIGNOS Flash or by the tool you already use. RIGNOS Tune tells you what it is before you touch a byte.

2

Find and change the maps

Pick a map from the list, edit it as a table, check the shape in 2D or 3D. Every changed cell turns gold.

3

Save it, checked

Each way of saving a file is checked against an independent reference before its button unlocks. Then hand the file back to RIGNOS Flash.

What it does

An editor, and only an editor.

Everything you need to understand and change a calibration, and nothing that pretends to be something else.

Open and identify

Drop in a read. RIGNOS Tune tells you what it is before you touch a byte.

Find the maps

A map list you can filter and name, with each map’s axes read from the file.

Tables, 2D and 3D

Edit in the table, check the shape in 2D or 3D. Changed cells turn gold.

Hex when you need it

The raw bytes beside the map, with the same selection in both views.

Compare two files

Original against modified, cell by cell, with every difference listed.

Nothing writes until it’s proven

Each way of saving a file is checked against an independent reference before its button unlocks.

Licensing

Licensed like the tools you already use.

One license per machine: the base editor, plus a plugin for each engine family you work on. It lives on your RIGNOS account next to your other tools.

Per machine

Each laptop takes one seat, and the app shows how many seats are free before it uses one.

Move it yourself

Retire a laptop and give its seat to a new one from your account, once every 91 days per laptop.

Plugins by engine family

The engine families and their prices are published at launch.

Questions shops ask

Straight answers.

Which ECUs does it open?

Support comes per engine family, as plugins. The list and prices are published at launch.

Does RIGNOS Tune write to the ECM?

No. It edits files. Reading and writing the ECM is RIGNOS Flash’s job.

How many computers can I use?

One seat per computer. Your account page shows every seat, and you can move one to a new laptop yourself once every 91 days.

What if I stop paying for updates?

You keep what you bought. Only features released after your updates end need a renewal.
