Rignos — the desktop application, this website, the report templates, the documentation and the brand — is operated by VietDiesel (“we”, “us”). This page explains who owns what, and what you may do with it.

1. Ownership

The Rignos software, website, user interface, report layouts, documentation, logos and the Rignos name are owned by us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Your subscription does not transfer any of them to you.

2. Your licence

While your subscription is active and in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Rignos software on the number of machines your plan covers, for your own shop’s work. Seats are counted per machine and shown on your account.

3. What you may not do

Except where the law expressly allows it and cannot be waived, you agree not to: copy, rent, resell or sublicense the software; share your workspace with an unrelated business; remove or alter any copyright or ownership notice; reverse-engineer, decompile or work around the software’s protection; or redistribute any engine definition, plugin, calibration file or other material we provide.

4. Your data and files

Your customers, trucks, sessions, reports and the calibration files you open or create remain yours, as set out in Terms of service and Privacy. You are responsible for having the right to work on any file or vehicle you use Rignos with.

5. Other companies’ trademarks

Engine and vehicle names such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, PACCAR, Volvo, International and MaxxForce are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to describe compatibility. Rignos is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any vehicle or engine manufacturer.

6. Feedback

If you send us an idea or a suggestion, we may use it to improve Rignos without any obligation to you.

7. Infringement claims

If you believe something on Rignos infringes your copyright, email rignos@vietdiesel.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we will review it.
