ECM read and write

Read and write the ECM over the adapter you already own.

RP1210 on the laptop, J1939 and UDS on the truck. Built for heavy-duty ECMs, with a recovery path for the one that stopped halfway.

In development. No release date yet. What has actually run on a truck is listed on Supported engines.
How it works

Read, write and verify, at the truck.

What you do with the file happens in RIGNOS Tune; how the truck runs afterwards shows up in RIGNOS Diag.

1

Connect

Plug the RP1210 adapter you already own into the truck and the laptop.

2

Read

Pull the calibration and keep it with the truck’s VIN and the date. Reading back out is PACCAR only so far — see what is proven.

3

Write and verify

Send the file back block by block, with a verify pass you can watch.

What it does

Four jobs, done at the truck.

Read

Pull the calibration and keep it with the truck’s VIN and the date. Today this is PACCAR only, and not yet proven against a real ECM — what is proven.

Write

Send a file back block by block, with a verify pass you can watch. Proven on PACCAR MX-13, Detroit ACM GHG17 and MaxxForce DT.

Recover

When a write stops halfway, bring the ECM back instead of towing the truck. Tested on a truck for all three makers.

Hand off

Reads open straight in RIGNOS Tune. Before and after sessions land in RIGNOS Diag.

Licensing

One app, two editions.

Flash is not a second program to install. The Rignos Windows app ships in two editions, and Flash is what the Advanced one adds. Prices are published at launch.

Technician

The diagnostics app: read the bus, decode faults, clear them, write the report. No calibration writing in it at all.

Advanced

The same app, plus Flash. One install, one sign-in, one place your techs already know.

Per machine

Each laptop takes one seat, shown on your account page with its renewal date.

Move it yourself

Retire a laptop and give its seat to a new one from your account.

Questions shops ask

Straight answers.

Which ECMs does it support?

Supported ECMs are listed at launch, once each one has been proven on real trucks.

Which adapters?

RP1210 adapters — the kind you already use for OEM software. The tested list is published at launch.

What if a write stops halfway?

RIGNOS Flash is built with a recovery path, so the ECM can be brought back instead of towing the truck.

Do I need RIGNOS Tune too?

No. Flash reads and writes; Tune edits files. When you use both, they hand files to each other.

When does it ship?

There is no release date yet. Tell us your shop’s name and we’ll write when it opens.

Want it when it opens?
