These terms apply when your shop uses Rignos, operated by VietDiesel (“we”, “us”). Using the service means you accept them.
Rignos records diagnostic sessions from heavy-duty vehicles over an RP1210 adapter, stores them, and produces reports and a customer portal for your shop. It is a reporting and record-keeping tool.
Rignos is read-only on the vehicle bus except for clearing stored fault codes on explicit instruction. It does not write calibrations and is not a substitute for a dealer scan tool, a chassis dynamometer, or a qualified technician’s judgement. Decisions about a vehicle remain yours.
You are responsible for your accounts and for what people do with them. Keep passwords private, give each person their own account, and revoke access when somebody leaves. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or machine has been compromised.
Your customers, trucks, sessions and reports remain yours. We store and process them to run the service for you. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with other shops. See Privacy.
Plans are yearly and priced per machine. Invoices are issued for the term. Renewing early extends the existing end date rather than resetting it. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it or we have said otherwise in writing.
One subscription covers one shop. Do not resell access, share a workspace between unrelated businesses, or attempt to reach another shop’s data. Do not attack, probe or overload the service.
We work to keep Rignos running and we take backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance happens. The desktop app is built to keep recording while the network is unavailable, which is the failure that matters most in a bay.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost work, or damage to a vehicle arising from decisions made using information the service reported.
You may stop using Rignos at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a breach of these terms; where the situation allows, we will tell you first. On termination you may ask for an export of your data within a reasonable period.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to account owners before they take effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
