Rignos is not a scan tool replacement.

Keep the tool you diagnose and flash with. Rignos is the layer above it: the record that survives the visit, the report your customer reads, and the portal with your name on it.

Straight answer first. If you need bidirectional tests, injector cut-outs, calibration flashing or dealer-level coverage across every make, you need JPRO, INSITE, DDDL or the OEM tool — and you will keep needing them. Rignos reads, records and reports. That is the whole scope, on purpose.

Who Rignos is actually for

A good fit

Performance and tune shops that already diagnose well, and want the paperwork, the customer copy and the truck history to look like a product instead of a screenshot in an email.

A bad fit

A shop looking for its first and only diagnostic tool, or one that needs bidirectional tests and flashing. Buy the dealer tool first; Rignos makes sense on top of it, not instead of it.

One thing no scan tool does. Every session, Rignos reads the calibration’s shop mark. When a truck you tuned comes back marked by somebody else, the timeline shows the day it changed. That is the feature shops keep the subscription for.
